CATASTROPHE: THE COVERAGE EXPERTISE YOU'LL NEED WHEN IT MATTERS MOST WEBINAR

Nothing makes us more aware of the gaps that can exist in personal and commercial coverage than a catastrophe.  We will discuss some of the direct damage and loss of use issues faced by individuals and businesses before, during and after natural disasters such as storms and earthquakes.  We will look at coverage forms commonly written and how they may respond to claims presented after such disasters. Lastly, we will briefly explore some liability insurance issues that can come into play in a catastrophe, whether the catastrophe is a natural one or one that is man-made.  This course has been approved by the Florida Department of Financial Services for insurance continuing education credit.

HOME BUSINESS VERSUS HOME INSURANCE WEBINAR

Just because a business is conducted out of an insured’s home does not necessarily afford it coverage under the Homeowners Policy forms.  Home Business vs Homeowners Insurance looks to the unendorsed ISO Homeowners forms for coverage, exclusions, and available endorsements.  Agents and servicers who understand the limits of the homeowners forms and ask the right risk analysis questions of their clients will help prevent errors and omissions claims, increase customer retention, and add value to their clients’ insurance portfolios. This course has been approved by the Florida Department of Financial Services for insurance continuing education credit.
