WSIA Surplus Lines Management Program Scholarship Opportunity
Surplus Lines Management Program 
Apply by December 14, 2023!

The Wholesale and Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA) is offering members of the surplus lines associations the opportunity to apply for a tuition/travel scholarship ($2,310 fee waiver that includes lodging and a $400 travel stipend) to attend the upcoming WSIA Surplus Lines Management Program to be held February 5 – 8, 2024 in Atlanta.  WSIA’s Surplus Lines Management Program offers pivotal management training for any E&S professional transitioning from a technical expertise to a leadership role while retaining personal responsibility for a book of business.  Combining industry knowledge and world-class management training from Emory University, this program prepares participants for their current and future leadership positions by examining the foundation of good management.  Participants will learn to harness their own leadership style to motivate teams, manage conflict, build a book of business, and increase company value and performance through effective relationships and a broadened industry perspective.  The program also features an Executive Panel allowing attendees to interact with industry veterans.

E&S Program

WSIA Education Program Scholarship Opportunity – Apply by April 12, 2024!

The Wholesale and Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA) is offering members of the surplus lines associations the opportunity to apply for a tuition/travel scholarship ($1,700 fee waiver that includes lodging and a $400 travel stipend) to attend the upcoming WSIA E&S program. The Excess & Surplus Lines program is designed for insurance professionals with less than five years of experience in the surplus lines industry. The program is also an excellent introduction to the surplus lines industry for new employees or even veteran insurance professionals who are just new to surplus lines. Persons with more than five years of surplus lines experience are encouraged to attend the Marcus Payne Advanced program.

Advanced E&S Program

WSIA Education Program Scholarship Opportunity – Apply by April 12, 2024!

The Wholesale and Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA) is offering members of the surplus lines associations the opportunity to apply for a tuition/travel scholarship ($1,750 fee waiver that includes lodging and a $400 travel stipend) to attend the upcoming WSIAs Advanced E&S Program to be held June 9-12 in Chicago. The Marcus Payne Advanced E&S program is designed for insurance professionals with multiple years of experience in the surplus lines industry. Past participants of WSIA’s Excess & Surplus Lines program are strongly encouraged to attend. Completion of the WSIA Excess & Surplus Lines program is not a prerequisite.
